Thanks for the letter.. Oh! I tried the chilled summer soup that was there in the newsletter last time, although with a little variation( I used Dried Basil, and normal salt instead of rock:-)), none the less my friend loved it.
The article about Yavatmal farmers is inspiring. I feel its a great initiative and there are not many companies these days who take Corporate social responsibility as an important issue. Until and unless we corporate companies take initiative to take steps however small, the whole experience of working in a globalised India will not reach the grassroot levels of the society.
Although I was a little shocked after reading about the risk of infections, and diseases such as the mad cow spreading through capsules made of animal gelatin. I wonder how many medical firms actually have started switching on to vegetable cellulose.
Besides all this Tulsi tea is a hit amongst my circle, my friends and colleagues loved it. So officially It is the flavour of the season.

Many many thanks for the information in gelatin capsules and vegetable capsules . How to know who is using gelatin capsules and who is not. I assume that all Ayurveda medicines manufacturers use vegetable capsules and other gelatin. I may be wrong. Kindly educate me.

Thank you for your Newsletter, which i'm reading with interest.
Would like to know more and have some positive feedback about your Bowelcare. My dear father is completing 92 yrs on 27th july and i look after him ....He is a 2nd world war veteran. He suffers from severe neuropathy and constipation.
After his last hospitalisation due to an attack of gastro last october'07...his ability to walk got affected and now suffers from buckling of knees when he stands up and is not able to walk even with the help of a walker too. Have a physiotherapist coming home to give him required exercises and mobilising him to teh extent possible.
pls give me your mumbai contacts with whom i acn touch base with asap.
Do you have something in your product range to treat neuropathy and parkinson in old people.???

I Quit Smoking and Turned to Tulsi...

I have been using Tulsi tea from organic India for about 3 months now. I had quit smoking, and had switched to tulsi tea specifically because of the fact that it is rich in antioxidants. Its been three months, and it has become a part of my daily life.
However one fact that I had not known was that it is manufactured right here in lucknow. It was a pleasant surpise to know that the company operates out of the hometown.
The news letter brought out the Global image of the company quite emphatically, and also someting that impressed me was the mention of KAIZEN. I find it rare that a company embraces the japanse LEAN way of thinking. I myself have worked with GE, and now with Genpact where LEAN is a way of everyday work, so I am quite convinced about the high and efficient standards that must have been maintained in making a product that I use.
It reaffirms my first impression about the company's Global way of thinking, and also the articles that suggest it being a people centric organisation.
It's was quite a good piece of work( both, the newsletter, as well as tulsi tea :-))

I suggest Organic should also develop herb TAGARA in a capsule form, for stress relief and sleep inducer. This herb a is sister herb of Brahmi and is a favourite of Deepak Chopra, MD, who is famous US based Indian Doctor and spritualist: read his RESTFUL SLEEP, the book recommends tagara!
