I’d like to share with you something that has been deeply meaningful in my life. I learned this process many years ago from a woman doctor who uses visualization in her medical practice for cancer patients. This heart-opening exercise/visualisation is about opening your heart to Love, and can heal your heart and mind, which is truly the most important healing of all.
You can do this anywhere, just find a few minutes where you won’t be interrupted. Read through the details first, and then give it a try. It is always good to start by taking a deep breath. When you are ready, you can close your eyes, take a deep breath and do the following.
Imagine you are in a room that you really love, a room that makes you feel safe and peaceful, maybe the room from your childhood that you loved the most, or maybe just a room that shows up in your mind right now. You are resting in bed, just resting quietly and feeling very good and comfortable. Look around the room, notice the windows, the curtains, the furniture, and the light. Take a deep breath. Look and see where the door is. The door is open. Now watch the doorway as someone comes in to tell you they love you. Let them come. Just see who it is and what they do as they tell you “I love you!”

An American wanted to write a book about famous churches so he bought a ticket and flew to China. The first day in a church he took a picture of a golden telephone with a sign saying '$10,000 per call'. The American was astonished and asked the priest for what this telephone was. The priest said that it was a direct connection with heaven and for $10,000.00 one could speak with God. The American thanked him and left.
His next stop was in Japan. There by a large cathedral he saw a similar golden telephone with the same sign. He wondered if it was the same type of telephone as in China, and asked a nun was this phone was about. After this the American decided to go to India to see if they also had the same telephone. Upon arrival he saw in the first church he entered the same telephone, but the sign said 'One Rupee per call'.
The American was surprised and therefore asked the priest regarding this sign. "Father, I've been around the world and have seen everywhere in the Churches the same golden telephone. I was told it was a direct connection with the Heavens. But everywhere the price was $10,000.00 per call. Why is it here so cheap?"
The Priest smiled and answered, "You are in India, my son. It is only a local call!"

Serves: 6

Ingredients
6 heaping cups fresh spinach leaves
1 heaping cup fresh chopped basil
A handful of fresh Tulsi leaves
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/4 cup pine nuts (or almonds chopped/sliced)
3-4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons red wine or balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon of Rock Salt and a generous grinding of fresh black pepper to taste
1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Method:
Wash and dry the spinach thoroughly. Tear apart the spinach leaves and toss together in a large salad bowl with the chopped basil.
