ORGANIC INDIA Kosher Certification scope was recently enriched with inclusion of 18 new Tulsi tea blends & 4 Psyllium formulations. The Certification has become an increasingly important marketing device which generates additional revenues by expanding the size of the market. Supermarkets favor brands with certification because it gives the product a competitive edge that makes it sell faster. This also means that certification can lead to an increase in a company's business. A study reveals that a kosher product can win more favorable shelf space, and that positioned next to a competing non-kosher brand, a kosher product will do better by 20%.Over $150 billion of kosher certified products are consumed annually, and spending continues to rise dramatically. We can have a major chunk through strong Product Quality of Organic India Products and can harness kosher certification strength.

The company recently introduced a unique organic technology of microbial reduction which makes use of super heated steam and vacuum to ensure that while microbial contamination is reduced, the effective component is retained to the maximum and thereby improving the effectiveness of the herbs and formulations and retaining the original taste and enhancing the aroma of Tulsi.

Tulsi Mahotsava was held on 27th November 2007 in Azamgarh. On this occasion we all gathered to pay our humble tribute to Mother medicine of nature - Tulsi "The Incomparable One". Tulsi Mahotsava is an event of joy and togetherness. Tulsi Mahotsava is a very good platform to motivate and honour our farmers and employees for their devotion and dedication to the company.

ORGANIC INDIA participated in India’s largest Organic Fair in New Delhi as a Gold Sponsor. ORGANIC INDIA was the sponsor of the Good Health Zone organised by India Today group at the Grand Hotel, New Delhi.

ORGANIC INDIA became the first Indian Company to Export certified organic Psyllium to US. The three different variety comprises of Peach, Orange and Chocolate as a value added finished product.

We celebrated the arrival of the year 2008 with all our managers and workers together. It started with a small motivational speech by our President Mr. Bharat Mitra followed by a parody from our CEO which gave a boost to Karamchand, Mohan & Pankaj Prajapati who voluntarily came on the stage for some spicy mix of performances.

    Great! Tastes so good.

I have been consuming Organic India's Original Tulsi tea for quite some time and have found it to be amazingly de-stressing. Said to be organically produced and rich in anti-oxidants, it surely has a refreshingly soothing flavour when taken with honey as a sweetener. Undoubtedly, it is a balm for the jiggling nerves!

At our recent Tulsi Mahotsava, our Organic India USA sales team experienced first hand magic and adventure of India. Visiting Mahotsava and India for the very first time, the "Tulsi Angels" were recognized for their company commitment and the successful job they have done in placing our new Tulsi Teas in over 400 health and natural stores throughout the US. Nicknamed the "Tulsi Angels" because they possess a wonderful glow and spirit, the "Angels" communicate the great taste and health benefits of Tulsi Tea to their customers. The "Angels" are comprised of three young women who have been with the company for over 3 years. They are: Heather Henning, US Western Regional Sales Manager; Gina Coccari, US Eastern Regional Sales Manager, and Hopi Darnell, Sales Manager Internal Sales, located in our Boulder office. When asked what they liked best about the Mahotsava, Heather Henning, in speaking for the group said, "I was very impressed with the beautiful spirit and warmth of the Tulsi farmers. They believe in organic, sustainable agriculture, and the great job that Organic India is doing to save the planet." While in Azamgargh for Mahotsvoa, the "Angels" also received a tour of our new Primary Health Care Centre of Organic India Foundation, and met with many of the farmers who come to the clinic for medical care. "It makes me proud to work for Organic India when I see what we're doing to provide health care to members of the community," said Gina Coccari. Hopi Darnell summed up the "Angels" recent trip the best when she said, "I have looked forward to coming to Mahotsova and India for a long time. This trip was unbelievable. I feel more connected now than ever to my company and our mission. I want to come back as soon as possible."
