ORGANIC INDIA Lucknow Head Office conducted an open
forum meeting for non-executive employees on Saturday 14th June, 2008
at IIA Gomti Nagar. The meeting turned out to be a successful and interactive
one. Below are the highlights of the session:
- The participants were all the non-executives from departments like production, hygiene, canteen, logistics, quality and Research & Development.
- The open forum held in the presence of M.D. and Global C.E.O. - Mr. Krishan Guptaa, GM Operations - Mr. Balram Singh, Manager Finance and Accounts - Mr. Ritesh Sethi, HR Manager - Ms. Smita Singh and Mr. Anuj Trivedi.
- Mr. Krishan Guptaa started by briefing the present and future plan of the company and how each employee of ORGANIC INDIA is important and responsible for the achieving the company’ goal. As usual his every word made every one present there to be motivated for their individual contribution and towards self development which could help the company to take an edge in achieving the GOAL.
- Every non-executive present in the open forum started coming up with the issues and solutions for cost management and controlling wastages.
- Some of them were so good that they gave the management to think on it and apply.
- Few employees were awarded on the spot for their creative thinking and responsible attitude.
Going forward ,everyone agreed for the following:
- On time coming means reaching office 30 mins earlier and ensuring work starts on time.
- No wastage of time during tea or lunch breaks
- Self discipline
- Suggestions to be put in the suggestion box near the canteen and monthly award to be given to the best suggestion
- This year salary increase will also depend on the number of suggestions given
- Few employees are graduates and we will work to train and upgrade them
- No overtime as well as contract work to be eliminated by improving internal efficiency including docets packing done outside
Meeting of all managers called at 11 A.M. to discuss and have a time bound action plan to be put on notice board so that employees can feel the corrective action
Mr. Krishan Gupta gave the commitment to resolve the issues by giving the target dates.
Everyone of them came up with full zeal to deliver the results in future from their side, to come in the shift before time, to give the 100% efforts to increase the efficiency for the better results and not to hide anything from the management.
The HR department agreed to do such open forums every quarter to be in touch with such issues and solutions and to get the feedback from the core team of the company who get things done from their hands what we decide as management.
