The modern agro technology exposes to various chemical toxins that come our way through chemical fertilizers. Unfortunately many people are not aware of the advantage of organic foods and organic farming.

This World Forum will provide a common platform for environmentalist, scientists, social activists, farmers and businessman so that the consciousness about the sustainable living through organic agriculture can be initiated in a more comprehensive way.
Taking sustainable living as a way of life the forum will discuss the modern agro technology which exposes us to various chemical toxins that come our way through chemical fertilizers. One of the main causes of diseases in our age is slow chemical poisoning, which many of the people are getting through the food we consume every day. In fact when we go for these chemical we are thinking for the short term gains and largely ignore the environmental concerns and the harmful effect of these chemical on the human being. Moreover the high chemical based technology has already mined and poisoned the soils and has ultimately led to the lands gasping for pure air.
In the array of being a vehicle of consciousness in the global market by means of creating a holistic sustainable business modality, which inspires, promotes and supports well-being and respect for all beings and for Mother Nature ORGANIC INDIA organizes the forum. Talking to The times of India, Bharatmitra, Chairman and President, ORGANIC INDIA asserts, “Going Organic is the only practical way to restore our soil and to avoid eating genetically modified food. For our total well being in the present context, pure food is very important and organic food is not only pure and safe for our body but is eco-friendly and safe for the environment”
Further elaborating on the importance of onset of organic culture, he says “India has always been the centre of knowledge. The scriptures clearly depict the wisdom of saints by means of ayurveda. In fact ayurveda distinctly talks about the wonder herbs like basil, garlic and the world is slowly realising its importance.“ He adds, “The world requires integrating the ancient wisdom with the modern technology and our products are the most adequate example of this fusion.”
The main motto behind having a World Forum hence is to propagate the benefits of these organic foods and also that the benefits of these organic foods and also that the organic development is sustainable development. Bharatmitra further says, “In project where we have worked for the last seven years, the yields are increasing year after year. Every year the farmers are getting more produce from there land because there is constant enrichment of the soil, natural compost, natural fertilizers, etc.. So, it’s not only that the farmers are getting sustainable income; they are also amazed with the increase in their well being. “Speaking about the condition of agriculture in India, Bharatmitra comments, “In India as elsewhere, chemical fertilizers and pesticides have been aggressively promoted and heavily subsidised to keep the fertilizer companies afloat, without realizing the resulting devastation these chemical applications have wrought on the sustainability of agriculture.”
With the adequate application of fertilizers the region of now experience unpolluted water resource and a healthier livestock. The quality of milk has also greatly improved. “They are no longer exposed to toxic chemicals, the women have fewer miscarriages, the quality of mother’s milk is better, babies are healthier, and the whole family is healthier.
