AFTER regaling the world with their organic Tulsi tea variants, ORGANIC INDIA Pvt. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Krishan Gupta, gave details about the company's new addition to its collection to the media persons on Friday.
Gupta said although India has been one of the biggest producers of psylliums with 85 per cent of the share, yet the sterlised powdered version of psylliums were yet to be exported from the country. What makes these psylliums different from others, he said, is that these combine the benefits of psyllium, inulin, aloe vera leaf and marshmallow root, which is a healthy combination to ensure that the digestive system functions well.
The company will be exporting the blends, in three flavours of peach, chocolate and orange, to its US counterpart ORGANIC INDIA USA and 6.5 lakh units are being prepared in the first stage. The total amount of the first order is estimated to be around Rs 200 million, Gupta said.
