Set up in 1997, this company is gearing up to expand its product
offerings and enhance its presence in global markets as well. Along
with its range of herbal supplements, varieties of tulsi tea and
organic syrups, the company is looking at diversifying into other
organic offerings like spices and commodities, organic chyawanprash,
pure desi ghee from tension-free cows and candied ginger and amla.
It plans to launch 20 exclusive retail outlets by next year across
Delhi, Chandigarh, Hyderabad and Lucknow, among other cities and
towns. Organic India has also invested $6 million in a dehydration
plant to further its R&D activities. With a presence in about
30 countries, this Rs. 60 crore company aims to reach Rs. 300 crore
over the next three years.
