Varanasi: To promote organic farming, Tulsi Mahotsava was organised in Azamgarh on Tuesday. Hundreds of farmers participated from
various places. The event, which was an annual feature, was organised by an organisation working in the field of organic farming.
On this occasion farmers from UP, MP & Rajasthan were honoured for their contribution to organic farming with special reference to Tulsi.
Sobran Singh Ghosh from MP, Amra Ram Purohit from Rajasthan, Mangla Singh and Dhwaj Pal Singh and Monaki Devi from Uttar Pradesh were awarded
for their excellence in organic farming. The function was attended by the president Bharat Mitra, co-chairperson Bhavani Lev, Doron Levitas, Steven
Bookoff and others.
