General Description –

A moderate or large sized deciduous tree, its bark is dark brown with shallow vertical cracks. Fruit is yellowish brown, ovoid, 25-35 mm long, 12-25 mm wide, wrinkled and ribbed longitudinally, pericarp non-adherent to the seed, taste astringent.
