General Description –

Fruit is black or greenish black, cylindrical 2-5 cm long and 0.5-1cm thick, having minute sessile fruits, arranged around axis, surface rough and composite, taste pungent producing numbness in the tongue and odour is aromatic.

Useful in-

Stomachic, antidiarrheal, bronchitis, pain, inflammation, diuretic, liver tonic etc.
